Mardi Gras Brooch #1
This is the first in my funkie series titled Mardi Gras fashioned after some of the masks that might be worn during Mardi Gras. I this lampwork bead with a white base, black stripes, mouth and nose and aqua eyes. I then used black and white fibers for his hair. This series is just plain FUN!
The brooch measures a bit over 2 inches.

Mardi Gras Brooch #2
#2 in the Mardi Gras series this little fella was made with a deep plum base, dark teal stripes, nose and mouth. The eyes have a white base with black pupils. His lovely hair has been made with purple, blue, teal and white fibers.
He measures approx. 2 1/4 inches in length.

Mardi Gras Brooch #3
#3 in the Mardi Gras series is how can I say it a Cyclops. Yes, he only has one eye in the center of his forehead. Sorry couldn't help myself. The base glass is white. I then added black stripes, black nose and mouth. And then there is that lovely center eye made with a white base and aqua pupil. And what can I say about his hair! Well these beautiful fibers are a soft rust, black and gray fibers with some sparkly gold mixed throughout.
This cutie pie measures approx. 2 1/5 inches.
