The Little Urn


This lampwork bead was made with a base of transparent blue Moretti Glass.  After putting on the base glass then I start to add more glass to shape it into it's final urn shape.  While the urn is red hot I rolled it in red enamel.  To get the final aged look of the enamel I turned up the heat on my flame to literally fry the enamel.  With simple sterling silver beads and wire wrap to finish off the necklace and take away from the design of the urn.  

The urn measures 2 inches long X 1 inch wide.  The urn is strung on a simple leather cord with a cord length of 16 inches.

Wreath of Vines










Using a heart shaped mandral my design starts off with black Moretti Glass and then delicate green vines are placed around the heart.  Then small orange, yellow and red berries are sprinkled throughout the vines.  This bead is a bit more delicate than the usual solid center beads due to it's sculptural quality.  But is sure to catch many compliments.  

The heart shapped bead measures 1 1/4 inches long X 1 1/4 inches wide.  The bead is strung on leather cording which is approximately 22 inches long.   The cording can be shortened per your request.

Loop Te Loop Necklace










The focal piece is fused glass with dichoric dispersed throughout to give it some sparkle.  It was then stitched with hundreds of seed beads of varying sizes and colours.

Burst O' Beads










This pendant is made up of dozens of different shapes, sizes and finishes in greens, turquoise glass beads as well as a mix of wooden beads.  They are all wired with sterling silver wire and joined in the middle to give it a star burst effect.

Woven Treasure Necklace















I made the base of this pendant of glass I fused in the kiln.  In between the layers of glass I have strategically place silver leaf and there is one 2mm crystal that will sparkle when the light hits it just right.  After the fusing of the glass I then constructed a sterling silver setting for the glass and intricately wove sterling silver wire to encase the glass.  This stunning piece will be the envy of your friends.

Red Coral Goes Volcanic Necklace













Construction of this unusual necklace is made with Dyed Red Coral in a semi-triangle shape, Dyed Red Coral beads and textural black volcanic stones.  The main pendant is pure silver .999 silver (not sterling which is .925) with a woven texture.  And at the base of the pendant are 3 additional wirewrapped volcanic and dyed red coral dangles.  The clasp is sterling.  You won't see this design anywhere! 

The necklace itself is 20 inches long with the pendant being 3 inches long.

Ocean Blues Necklace













I made this lampwork glass bead with a base of a luscious transparent ocean blue.  I then topped it with lines of periwinkle.  With the bead red hot I then used a small glass stringer in the glass and twisted it to make the swirls.  The bead was then wirewrapped with sterling silver wire with laser etched sterling beads.  I also made the wirewrapped bail with sterling silver.  The necklace is round soft leather w/a sterling silver clasp.  One of the unique things about the bail on this necklace is that the pendant itself can be changed and a different pendant can be added.  So this bail gives the ability to change the pendant to go with any outfit.

The leather necklace is 16 inches long.  The pendant and bail are 3 inches long.
